Lucija Rosc (b. 1995) is an artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She holds a BA in Photography from Higher School of Applied Sciences in Ljubljana and is currently finishing her master’s studies in Visual Communications Design with a focus on photography at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She has had several solo shows and her work has been featured in group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad, including in Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova, National Museum of Slovenia, P74 Gallery, DobraVaga Gallery and Galerija Fotografija gallery. Her practice combines a research-based approach with playful interpretation, drawing inspiration from childhood memories and family archives. Her colourful and often humorous work invites the viewer to perceive photography in a more frisky manner.
