Join us at the presentation of Jaka Teršek's new photobook Ecstasy Terrace, which will take place on Tuesday, 27th October, at 6 pm at Galerija Fotografija.
Ecstasy Terrace by Jaka Teršek features photographs taken in China in 2019. The collection of chance encounters, unusual details and naive enthusiasm shifts between day and night, the observed and the seen, animals and food, and animals that are yet to become food. What seems self-evident soon becomes questionable. The book is also a travelogue, although it strives persistently not to be one.
The photobook was published in October 2026 by the Belgian publisher Matanna Editions in a limited edition of 150 copies. Each copy includes the author's signed photograph.
This event is part of the cultural activities in our bookshop, which are partly sponsored by the Slovenian Book Agency.
