I wait a long time, but when they finally get out, I snap photos like crazy. David is furious, but he controls himself so the rage cannot be seen on his face. He even laughs when he realizes I am about to take photos. He’s a true star, he knows all the tricks. So I did heap scandal on Bianca after all. And what a scandal. Everybody knew Mick Jagger was going out with Mrs. Bowie back in London, so this was tit for tat. She looked unconcerned while I was snapping the photos. Maybe this was all her manipulation and she was expecting me to show up.In any case, she had the last laugh. She never returned the slides I left her to pick out from. I had been in the army in Niš, Yugoslavia for quite a while when Phyllis Springer finally managed to extract forty slides from her – out of one thousand. Bianca took – or should I say stole – the rest. Maybe she considered that her price for the pictures I took of her and Bowie?
