Sara Rman

Sara Rman (1992) works with different media in arts and crafts. The photographic medium serves her as a tool of expression, a means of exploring the concepts of identity, the dimensions of the field of freedom and raw aesthetics. In 2017, she received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for her diploma thesis Svobodni duh časa (The Free Spirit of the Times). She has held numerous exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad – over the past years, her work has been on view at Škuc Gallery, R SPACE and Alkatraz Gallery in Ljubljana, Račka Gallery in Celje, Nova Gorica City Gallery, within the context of exhibitions Haunted House of Horror (London) and After All (Krakow), Mediterranea 20 - Young Artists Biennial in Nova Gorica and Gorica, as well as at solo exhibitions Swallow Your Pride (Košice) and Mirroring without End at Ljubljana Town Hall's Glass Atrium. As a member of the collective Kela, Rman led a workshop and exhibited at Layerjeva hiša in Kranj as part of Kranj Foto Fest 2024.
