Jože Suhadolnik
Jože Suhadolnik (1966) started working regularly for the then-Yugoslav news agency Tanjug at the age of sixteen, and at eighteen, at the suggestion of Blaž Ogorevc, he moved to Mladina. On the invitation of Nace Bizilj, he later worked concurrently for the Ljubljana-based Dnevnik, while also beginning to design book covers and becoming the resident photographer for the Celje Theater. In 1991, during the war for Slovenia, he received an invitation from the Associated Press, and simultaneously co-founded the Bobo agency with Srdjan Živulović, which also collaborated regularly with Reuters and EPA. After leaving the Bobo agency in 1999, he joined the team at Delo Revije, where he remained until 2005 and then moved to the Fotoformat store. In 2006, he received an invitation from the newspaper Delo, where he served as photo editor until 2011 and is currently employed as a photographer.
He has participated in more than 200 group exhibitions and has held 50 solo exhibitions. He is the recipient of the Zlata ptica (Golden Bird) award (Ljubljana, 1997) and the Zlato pero (Golden Pen) award (New York, 2001).
