What does nature give me personally? Nature is everything, it gives life and it also takes it away. It has given us the space to tell our own stories and to love it. Nature has no way of expressing what it feels and exactly what it is, yet it leaves its mark on everything and everyone. Most of the time it is pushed aside; humanity has always tried to harness the power of nature, sometimes even to erase it, but Mother Nature never stops her struggle to return to the consciousness of human beings. The opening thoughts could easily be linked to the concept of art. Art is everything that surrounds us, it is life and often an imitation of nature. Artists thus reflect the times in which we live, in fact it is their duty to express the beauty around us, to communicate what they stand for, who they are prepared to protect and where the faults in our society lie. Recently, artists have taken the position of nature activists, fighting with subtle expression to prevent nature from being completely erased from our consciousness. This time we will give artists a voice to communicate their thoughts and feelings about nature and our future. Expressing ourselves in relation to nature is more than art, it is part of life and our mission, because as long as we fight for a better future, we are receptive to change. Let us listen to the subtle power of art, which seeks to bring awareness of a renewed respect for nature. Now is the time to make a difference.

Mother Nature inspires us, fascinates us, and keeps us enthralled by her beauty. In curating this exhibition, I am drawing on a variety of artistic practices that are rooted in nature's impressions and communicate to us in a subtle way about environmental issues. The selection of artists shows the diversity of artistic expressions, how to move the viewer and make them think about the future of our planet. In making my selection, I looked for a variety of artistic approaches and innovative expressions. Some use natural materials to create works of art that celebrate nature, others are more in tune with ecological tendencies and disrespect for nature itself, and others show us a future we don't want. All of them, however, use their artworks to become advocates for nature and to call on us to become advocates for nature ourselves.
