We are pleased to present a joint shop window exhibition in collaboration with 1+1 Gallery and the architect Matic Vrabič. The exhibition features a curated selection of works from both Galerija Fotografija and 1+1 Gallery, highlighting a range of historical design pieces from the 20th century alongside photographs by our gallery artists.
The exhibition will be installed in our shop windows, creating a singular hybrid space where design and photography intersect. Three distinct zones will facilitate a dialogue between objects and photographs, offering alternative perspectives on the chosen works. Display panels will divide the windows into two interconnected spaces. Taking advantage of the short, dark winter days, the windows will remain illuminated even after the gallery closes, allowing passersby to enjoy the exhibition at any hour.
Join us at the opening on Thursday, 6th February, at 6 pm. The exhibition will be on view between Thursday, 6th February, and Saturday, 22nd February.
1+1 Gallery focuses on collectible design, primarily vintage pieces by Italian masters of the 20th century. It also supports contemporary projects through exhibitions, editions, curation and advisory services. Founded by Andrea Scarabelli in Milan in 2017, the gallery moved to Koper, Slovenia, in 2022. Known for its distinctive style, rigorous research, and curatorial approach, 1+1 Gallery operates mainly online, with site-specific exhibitions, fairs, and private viewings by appointment.
