We are pleased to announce that Galerija Fotografija is participating in this year's edition of the festival Fotografia Zeropixel with a selection of Slovenian photographers: Uroš Abram, Boris Gaberščik, Andrej Lamut, Tilyen Mucik, Janez Pukšič, Blaž Rojs, Metka Vergnion
"The eighth edition of Fotografia Zeropixel 2021 launches a new challenge with the title BODY which, despite being extensively treated in the history of photography and of art, is a highly topical theme, embracing also the meaning of health, illness, death or healing in the actuality of the pandemic. The BODY Festival call was answered by nearly a hundred photographers with over 250 photographs, most of them unpublished, created specifically for the Festival. They are images that deal with the body in different languages and cultures, visions involving artists from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Great Britain, Finland, Canada, the United States, Mexico, Vietnam and Japan. The Festival offers thirteen collective and monographic exhibitions on the beauty of the female and male body in its entirety, both in the most intimate details."
