Janez Pukšič: I Have Seen

For his 70th anniversary, Janez Pukšič has created an exhibition with a meaningful title I Have Seen. His approach to photography, on the border between photography and painting, was playful and unconcerned. Non-mimetic images, characterised by vivid spectral colors and dynamic strokes, communicate an optimism of the visual motif. At the same time, knowing that photography is always a recording of a part of reality, our sense of intrigue and mystery is awakened. What did the artist see? Answering this question is not always easy.
