Sara Rman uporablja fotografski medij kot izrazno sredstvo, s katerim raziskuje pojme identitete, razsežnosti polja svobode in surove estetike. Njeno delo presega fotografijo v tradicionalnem smislu in osredotoča umetničino neskončno ustvarjalnost na fotografski medij ter tako razširja sam pojem. Njena serija Odmevi prisotnosti raziskuje minljivo, a hkrati trajno bistvo zavrženih materialov, ki ga je zajela z inovativno uporabo kromogenskih barvnih printov, vtisnjenih v polimerno smolo. Serija zajema lepoto zapuščenih steklenih kosov in drugih materialov, ki so bili zapuščeni in sežgani kot priče spregledanih pripovedi, ki jih nosijo, ter poudarja njihovo odpornost in preoblikovanje. Podstavki iz kamna, nabranega na gradbišču, povezujejo umetniška dela z zemljo in ukoreninjajo minljive delce v trdne temelje kontinuitete in moči. Sara Rman uses the photographic medium as a tool of expression, a means of exploring the concepts of identity, the dimensions of the field of freedom and raw aesthetics. Her work transcends photographs in the traditional sense and focuses the artist’s endless creativity on the photographic medium, thus extending the notion of photography. Her series Echoes of Presence explores the transient yet enduring essence of discarded materials, encapsulated through the innovative use of chromogenic colour prints embedded in polymer resin. This series captures the beauty of forsaken glass pieces and other materials that have been left behind and burnt as a testament to the overlooked narratives that they carry, highlighting their resilience and transformation. The bases made from stone gathered from a construction site connect the artworks to the earth, rooting the ephemeral fragments in a solid foundation of continuity and strength. Reflecting on the cycles of use and disposal in the modern world, a deeper consideration of what we leave behind and how it might be perceived in new contexts is encouraged. This series not only challenges the conventions of material worth but also celebrates the potential for transformation and renewal inherent in the most unexpected places.
